When you renew your license, you’ll get a year’s worth of updates for the Mac app. Once that year is up, you can renew again or continue using the last version of the Mac app you updated to. No pressure.

License keys are now Mac-only and no longer include uploads to a Personal Workspace or real-time collaboration. To get a Workspace, the web app and real-time collaboration, please consider a subscription. Learn more

Get in touch

If you have an expired Mac-only license you can switch to a subscription at any time, just follow these steps:

  1. Unlink your license key by launching Sketch, then clicking on Sketch > Settings > Account > Unlink device.
  2. Open your web browser and sign in to Sketch. If you don’t have an account, sign up for free and get started with your Workspace. All new or upgraded Workspaces start with a 30-day free trial.
  3. On the bottom of the left sidebar, click on Settings > Billing to open the Billing page.
  4. Click on the Set Up a Subscription button
  5. Choose a subscription plan (monthly or yearly)
  6. Continue to payment to complete the purchase, and you’re all set!
